According to George Poveromo, the unparalleled success of the National Seminar Series (2003 marks the 16th consecutive year or touring for the program) is attributed to the vast amount of fresh, useful information that’s covered, as well as the strong audio/visual support reinforcing the key points discussed by the faculty. “We basically follow the format of Salt Water Sportsman Magazine,” says Poveromo. “Each and every month you read new, informative features. Our Seminar Series is the same way. Each time we return to a region, we introduce a new slate of courses and highlight different techniques that should prove deadly on both inshore and offshore game fish. Of course, the old reliable methods are covered as well, and we continue to pinpoint the precise fishing locations provided by our regional teams”.
Poveromo attributes the interest and strong ticket sales for the upcoming AC program to the diversity of the instructors. “In addition to our super strong regional experts, we’re “importing” noted angling authorities who Water Sportsman, one Roffer’s Offshore Ocean Fishing Forecast Analysis, one log of Double Strike Chum, and chances to win valuable door prizes - including an incredible fishing trip to the Islands of The Bahamas (one bonefishing excursion for two will be awarded to the popular Bimini Big Game Resort and Marina)! All seminar participants are also automatically entered in the drawing for the Super Grand Prize: Mako Marine’s new 1901 Bay Shark Center Console powered by a 135-hp, 4-Stroke Honda Outboard. This Salt Water Sportsman Seminar Series Edition Mako comes fully equipped, including a FLOAT-ON Trailer! The Super Grand Prize drawing will be held one week after the conclusion of the eighth and final seminar on the 2003 Tour!
